Paul Mitchell III's campaign refunds $2,700 in August 2019

The campaign committee of Republican candidate Paul Mitchell III, Friends of Paul Mitchell, refunded $2,700 in August, according to data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

Candidates can refuse or return contributions for a variety of reasons. Contributions may be refunded, for instance, in the event that the candidate does not want to be affiliated with a contributor, a contribution exceeds legal limits, or the candidate withdraws from a race.

Friends of Paul Mitchell has refunded $14,900 total since the beginning of the year.
