Algonac Community School District issued the following announcement.
As many of you know, on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, Governor Whitmer released her plan for the 2020-2021 school year. Although local counties and districts have many things to sort out regarding how this will look in their individual districts, the framework is now in place. I have attached a quick summary sheet with a few frequently asked questions. This is only an overview, but it will at least provide you with a broad picture of how things will look in the fall.
As for Algonac Community Schools, we have already been working on plans for the upcoming school year. Now that we have received guidance from the state, we will continue to move ahead with our planning process. A committee of Algonac stakeholders will finalize our plans throughout the month of July. I will keep you posted throughout the process so that you can prepare for the upcoming school year.
