Almont Community Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 19.
Last night Mrs. Bellinger's dog, Zoey, graduated as a Certified Therapy Dog!!! She is now an "Angel with Paws" and certified through the Mid-Michigan Therapy Dogs (MMTD) with Mrs. Belinger as her handler.
Zoey and Mrs. Bellinger are excited to start their service at Orchard Primary School in the near future. Zoey will participate in listening to children read, as well as pet facilitated therapy with the speech and language program.
