SPRING is in the air…. And we are ready for flower season!
Guess what time it is? It's time to start our annual plant sale, our club's biggest fundraiser every year. Our profits go right back into our three community gardens for plants, mulch, new signs, whatever we need any given year. Follow the link to our website where you'll find our order form. All dates, times and locations are on the form. All plants are once again provided by Szcygiel's Plant Farm. We will be accepting orders with payment any time now. Send it to our PO box (on the form), give it to any garden club member you know or PM me for my address. Here we go gardeners! Spring has arrived!
Word to the wise...we had to move up the pickup date for flats, pots and perennials a week earlier than previously. This is to ensure our supply because plants start sailing out of the greenhouses the week before Memorial Day. Be sure to keep your new plants somewhere safe from frost until it's time to plant, in a garage, along the side of your house (any direction but north) or have something to cover them with on the occasional frosty night.
