The Board recognized Coach Roger Avers for his induction into the Michigan High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2020.  Coach Avers coached boys track and both boys and girls cross country for the Algonac Community School District for over 25 years.

Bowling State Qualifiers, Natalie Kapanowski and Daniel Wehby, were recognized for their outstanding season.

Varsity Wrestling and Algonac Mat Rats, were present to be recognized for their place-winning competitions at the State level, as well as several All-Academic acknowledgements.

Also present was the Algonac Competitive Cheer team, who were recognized for receiving All-Academic honors for their team.

Overall, Algonac Sports had a lot to be proud of, on both levels,  competitively and academically!
