From the Caro Police Department -
We now have a week of wind turbine transport under our belt. Everything has gone smoothly and we thank all of you for your cooperation and patience. We had five rigs move through Caro this morning and the time frame has been between 7:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. every morning. There will be no transport over the weekend. On Monday, the loads will be larger as far as we are being told. So far, so good. Thank you. Keeping the downtown parking clear until after 7:30 a.m. overnight and in the morning has been the difference between having to re-route traffic and blocking westbound traffic. It has worked well. Caro PD is grateful for the continued assistance of Caro Fire and DPW. We couldn't do this without you.
