The funding covers a half-mile, lit walking trail with benches. The trail will begin just north of the pool house and will border the Heartlands Senior Living Community property.
We are hoping that if the Heartlands constructs their own trail that it will connect to our park trail and provide those seniors with easier access to our park and pool. The grant will also cover a new swing set, tire swing, and an ADA compliant piece of playground equipment. Lastly, we will be rehabilitating our pavilions which are continually used throughout the spring and summer months.
