On Saturday, Feb. 22, former St. Clair High School standout Ryan Zimmer’s current college team, the Michigan State Spartans, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders.

The game took place at Chapman Field. This was their first matchup against the Islanders this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at Whataburger Field against UCLA Bruins.
