Almont ranked 499th in Michigan for resident earnings in 2018

Almont ranked 499th among cities in Michigan by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Almont residents was $21,769 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 1,054 households with a population of 2,761.

The city with the highest median resident income in the state was Barton Hills with $109,583 per year after adjusting for inflation – $87,814 more than Almont. It had 125 households with a population of 287.

The city with the lowest median resident income in the state was East Lansing with $8,364 per year after adjusting for inflation – $13,405 less than Almont. It had 13,461 households with a population of 48,374.
