Brown City Community Schools issued the following announcement on July 24.
This is Sean Hagey from Brown City Elementary School with a teaching staff update.
Good news, we have completed our hiring process and we have hired two teachers to be a part of the elementary staff.
We hired Mrs. Danielle Sharpe to be our 2nd grade teacher. She will be a first year teacher this coming school year and has completed her student teaching in first grade. She will do a great job getting to know your students and providing them with fantastic learning opportunities.
We also hired Mrs. Heather Hale to be our 3rd grade teacher. Heather comes to us from Sandusky elementary school where she has taught 3rd, 5th and 6th grades. She will do an amazing job with the 3rd grade students through creative lessons and opportunities.
Mrs. Bradley and Ms. Fuhrman did move grade levels this summer. Mrs. Bradley will be teaching 4th grade and Ms. Fuhrman will be teaching 1st grade.
With these movements, there will be a teacher request box in front of the elementary for these teachers and these grades. Teacher requests will be honored as best as possible. Requests for these grade levels will run from today through Monday, August 9th.
