Anchor Bay will be highlighting our new teachers this month. Welcome, Mary Reda!
Current grade/school you are teaching at: School Counselor at Anchor Bay High School
College/University: I attended Central Michigan University for undergrad and Oakland University for my master's.
Degree/Endorsements: I have a B.S. in Family Studies with a Psychology Minor. I also have an M.A. in counseling with a Specialization in School Counseling.
Previous work experience: This is my 12th year as a school counselor. I have worked the past 11 years as a school counselor in Catholic High Schools-Everest Collegiate High
School, Divine Child High School, and most recently Regina High School.
Hobbies/What do you do in your spare time: I like to read, do Zumba, walk, and binge shows on Netflix.
What do you like about working at Anchor Bay: The people. Everyone has been so nice, welcoming, and friendly.
Positive event/experience that has happened in your first month here: I reconnected with a former co-worker from Divine Child.
