Anchor Bay will be highlighting our new teachers this month. Welcome, Rebecca McCoy!
Current grade/school you are teaching at: 6th and 7th Grade Math - Middle School North and Middle School South
College/University: Oakland University - Bachelors in Elementary Education with Math and Social Studies Endorsements
Hobbies/What do you do in your spare time: My spare time is spent with my family. We enjoy camping, going on adventures, and watching movies.
What do you like about working at Anchor Bay: All the staff and students are really great. It's like having a whole other family that you belong to. After I completed my student teaching at Lighthouse Elementary, I knew I would love to one day be a part of this district.
Positive event/experience that has happened in your first month here: Meeting new co-workers and just everyone being so kind and helpful.
