Anchor Bay School District issued the following announcement on Dec 6.
As part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the Anchor Bay School District has received grant funds administered through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund. The American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER III) Fund was authorized to provide to support the nation's schools in safely reopening and sustaining the safe operation of schools while meeting the academic, social , emotional and mental health needs of students resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Anchor Bay School District is seeking feedback from all district and community stakeholders to help determine how to best utilize the ESSER III funds. The ESSER III funds must be prioritized for in-person learning and learning loss mitigation.
