Welcome to 2022 everyone! I hope all of our families and students were able to take some time away and return to school reinvigorated!
The following letter is being sent to families today to clarify our COVID-19 mitigation policies. Since December 27, 2021 we have been inundated with new recommendations and then reversals of those recommendations. Even this morning, a Centers for Disease Control spokesperson indicated that their recommendations from December 27th may need to be revised!
After discussions, the school leadership of Lapeer County is sending this joint statement reinforcing our intention to continue to use the mitigation efforts that have served us so well since August 2021. If we see significant changes in our county regarding COVID-19 cases, we will review these policies to meet any new challenges.
