4-H program to teach students about Embryology and the cycle of a chicken egg

Capac Elementary School issued the following announcement on Mar 17.

Capac Elementary School has been working with our local 4-H program to teach students about Embryology and the cycle of a chicken egg. As part of this study we have had an incubator set up in the media center where students and staff have monitored daily progress and development.

We are proud to announce that several eggs have hatched, and we have healthy chicks chirping in the media center! We appreciate the support of the 4-H program, as well as our very own, Mrs. Camire, who has spent every evening checking in on the eggs to be sure they were staying warm, and now making sure the chicks are eating and drinking to foster their growth! Mrs. Camire also sat with classes today and allowed students to come to the media center to pet the chicks.
