At the Algonac Board of Education meeting on Monday, September 26, 2022, Brad Banasik from the Michigan Association of School Boards (MASB) presented the Board with the MASB Honor Board Award.
The Honor Board Award is given to school boards where every member has completed all Level 100 courses in the Certified Boardmember Awards (CBA) program. The CBA program offers school board leaders a way to develop new skills, stay up-to-date on educational issues and earn recognition for development as a school board member.
Algonac is one of only six school boards in the State of Michigan to receive this award.
