Bake Sale

The students of the Algonac High School GSA club used all of their Bake Sale proceeds ($150) to purchase socks for the Ruth Ellis Center in Detroit. The Ruth Ellis Center has a national reputation for quality and innovation in providing trauma-informed services for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness.

Socks are the number one item needed in shelters, thus "Socktober".
