Former Vassar Senior High School player and current Saginaw Valley State Cardinals right handed pitcher, Steven Hecht, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the fourth seeded Ashland Eagles.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
