On Saturday, March 1, former Unionville-Sebewaing Area High School standouts Gabby Crumm and Olivia Jubar’s current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bridgeport Purple Knights.

The game took place at Launch Pad Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Purple Knights this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. at USSSA Space Coast Complex against Cedarville Yellow Jackets.
