City of Algonac issued the following announcement on Dec 22.
Councilman Jake Skarbek presented long-time Algonac resident Roger Pruitt with a Nice Neighbor Award this evening. After a September wind storm, Mr. Pruitt used his personal tractor to remove a tree and branches from the street. The tree had made the road impassable. Mr. Pruitt’s assistance was greatly appreciated, as the DPW and Fire Department were busy with fallen trees and downed wires throughout the city.
