ST. CLAIR COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM: History Hounds: Written in Stone-the Sanilac Petroglyphs to be held on October 9

St. Clair County Library System recently issued the following announcement.

Event Name: History Hounds: Written in Stone-the Sanilac Petroglyphs

Date: 10/9/2019

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Description:  The Sanilac Petrogylphs are a group of Native American stone carvings which are the only known ones in the Lower Peninsula. State archaeologist Stacy Tchorzinski will talk about their historical and cultural significance and tell about current plans to preserve these important carvings. Live-streamed from the Meijer Education Center at the Historical Society of Michigan in Lansing.

Location: Computer Lab
