City of Algonac issued the following announcement on Nov 3.
Head Shaving Event! Mayor Pro Tem Michael Bembas and Councilman Rocky Gillis agreed to have their heads shaved if local 501c3 Algonac Alive was able to raise $10,000 for the purchase of over 2,800 feet of Christmas garland and 100 bows for Riverfront Park. And they did it! Anne Trippi, owner of Annie’s Cuts & Curls and Marie Kulman, owner of The Lily Rose Color Bar Salon did the honors tonight!
