Mystery Science

Scienceproject 1000x667

Anchor Bay School District issued the following announcement on Feb 8.

In Mystery Science, first graders at Lottie have been learning about plant and animal superpowers.

Mrs. Gaedcke’s students investigated how plant structures like roots, branches, and leaves keep trees from blowing down.  Then they worked to invent wind proof umbrellas.  After undergoing their first wind test, the students worked to modify their umbrella poles and tops to make them more windproof.
