Akron Village recently issued the following announcement.
On Tuesday April 21st at 6 P.M. there will be a Virtual Budget/Council Meeting. The Council Meeting will be short and we will Deal with important items that have deadlines. Here is your instructions to install the program on your laptop or computer.
Everyone - Please download the "zoom client application" on your Windows, IQS, or Android Devices. You can find at; https://zoom.us/support/download or at the Apple app store or the Google play store Zoom Cloud Meeting client, it will ask you for a meeting ID number. Our number for both meetings is 885-359-3220. Enter your name and then click "Join". You should get a window that says "Please wait for the host to start the meeting." If you get that message you have connected successfully.
I have set up a test meeting for Monday at 3 P.M.. I will send further details.

The Village of Akron is currently looking for a Zoning Administrator or on the Lagoon Board, for more information please contact the Village President and/or Village Clerk.
Please do not rake leaves or blow grass clippings in the Village Streets as this plugs up the storm drains.
