City of Algonac issued the following announcement on April 7
Emterra picks up yard waste including grass clippings, leaves, tree trimmings and the like when they are in a separate, approved biodegradable paper bag or plastic bin marked "Yard Waste."
Leaf Vacuuming happens in the fall. Leaves left at the curb in a pile must be bagged for garbage pick up.
