City of Harbor Beach issued the following announcement on July 19.

Yesterday was the annual Harbor Beach Cart Derby, sponsored by the American Legion Post 197. There were dozens of races across four divisions. The crowd of spectators steadily increased as the morning went on, and everyone from the racers to the Legion members keeping everything organized and flowing had a great time. Here are this year's winners:

Senior Division:

Powderpuff Division:

1. Audrey Laurila

2. Jill Volmering

3. Jenny DeCoster

Junior Division:

1. Austin Volmering

2. Ben Kociba

3. Noah Kociba

Young Racers Division:

2. Evelyn DeCoster

3. Parker Kachman
