Caro Community Schools recently issued the following announcement.
Please take notice that on Monday, August 9, 2021 at 7:00 p.m., the Board of Education for Caro Community Schools will hold a public hearing to consider the 2021-2022 Tax Levy Rate Request. The meeting will be held at the Caro Middle School Media Center located at 301 N. Hooper St. Caro, Michigan.
A copy of the approved 2021-2022 budget including the proposed property tax millage rate request is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Caro Community Schools Central Office, located at 301 N. Hooper St. Caro, Michigan.
The proposed property tax millage rate levy amount, to support the approved budget will be a subject at this board meeting. The millage rate will remain the same as the 2020-2021 tax levy rate of 18.00 mils for operating and 5.65 mils for debt services.
This notice is being given by the Caro Community Schools Board of Education, Superintendent, and Business Manager.
This meeting will be open to all members of the public under Michigan’s Open Meetings Act.
