City of Algonac recently issued the following announcement.
This morning we gathered at the Emergency Responders Monument to honor those lost in the tragic events of 9/11. Thank you City of Algonac Mayor Stoneburner, VFW Jim Fernandez and Algonac Church of Christ Pastor John Highstreet.
The Fire Department was also presented with the shovel that was used to break ground for the Emergency Responders Monument to which we are very thankful. May those lost NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
May God Bless all First Responders, Military personnel and the USA.
