City of Bad Axe issued the following announcement on Sept 24.
The City of Bad Axe is looking for 2 Members interested in being on our Board of Review.
Some of the Duties of being a BOR Member include:
✔ Reviewing the tax roll
✔ Approving the tax roll
✔ Listening to tax payers concerns about their tax bills
✔ Training in February
✔ Meetings in March (4 days), July & December
✔ Approximately a total of 20 hours a year
The requirements are:
✔ Must live in the City limits of Bad Axe
✔ Must be a Registered Voter
