Splash Pad Update
The existing water main was originally a Private Water Main for the Pickle Plant. Most of the records were lost. When we went to tie in the water service, the water main was not found where it was expected to be.
After a frustrating process of locating the existing water mains and finding a water main unknown to the current city staff, we were able to locate an active water main.
A big shout out to Goretski Excavating who came in with one day's notice to install the water service line.
Still need to be completed, installation of the water meter and backflow protection, the control box, and some benches and picnic tables. Great Lakes Recreation is working on getting the rest scheduled.
