Become a Richmond PD School Crossing Guard

The City of Richmond Police Department is looking for School Crossing Guards for the upcoming school year. 

The qualified candidate must:

  • be able to handle traffic control and supervising children while crossing streets and intersections
  • possess the ability to interact well with children of all ages
  • use good judgement
  • have a flexible schedule
  • have a good understanding of traffic signals. Knowledge of traffic patterns is a plus. Training provided.
Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and requires the individual to be in good physical condition with good mobility.

$12/hour ~ part-time and substitute opportunities available ~ pre-employment background investigation required
